Our hair clinic in Gunadala, Vijayawada is part of GIA Clinics, near Hyatt Place. Everything here is overseen by one surgeon, Dr Sai Santosh, from the first scalp check to the last review. If you are not sure yet what you need, this overview of the services will show you where each one fits.
Scalp assessment
Almost every hair journey here starts with a microscope check of your scalp. It shows how dense your hair is, how thick it is and how active the loss is. The findings shape every suggestion that follows.
FUE hair transplant
For thinning or bald areas with enough donor hair, individual follicles are moved from the back and sides under local anaesthesia. Read about FUE.
PRP and GFC therapy
A non-surgical course of scalp injections, prepared from your own blood. It supports thinning hair where follicles are still active, and can also support a transplant. Read about PRP and GFC.
Beard and moustache transplant
Using the same FUE method, grafts fill patchy or thin areas of facial hair, including gaps caused by scars. Read about beard transplants.
Eyebrow transplant
Fine follicles are moved to thin or patchy eyebrows for a fuller, natural shape. Read about eyebrow transplants.
Why one surgeon matters
Dr Sai Santosh is the Chief Oral and Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeon at GIA, with 14 years of practice and a Masters course in Hair Transplantation (IGBAMS / ILAMED). In a hair clinic, continuity is valuable. The person who judged your donor area is the person who works with it and who reviews your progress months later. You deal with the treating doctor from the start.
A surgical background also brings the habits of an operating theatre to hair work. At GIA, instruments are autoclaved and kept in sealed pouches until your treatment.
