GIA Clinics in Vijayawada offers sterile ear piercing using the Studex system, which uses a sealed, single-use stud for each ear. It is suitable for babies, children and adults and is done by our face team under the guidance of Dr Sai Santosh. It is available at both our Gunadala and Gurunanak Colony clinics.

Your first visit answers this properly, with an examination and, where needed, a scan, before you commit to anything.
You choose from Studex sterile studs and confirm the piercing plan.
Same visitThe ear is cleaned and the spot is marked; you check that both sides look even.
Same visitA sealed Studex cartridge places the stud in one quick, gentle motion.
Same visitYou are shown how to clean the ear and when the stud can be changed.
Same visitCome back if there is redness, swelling or discharge that does not settle.

Babies can be pierced with the Studex system. Many parents choose to wait until after the early vaccines; ask us if you are unsure.
Yes. Each Studex stud comes in a sealed, single-use cartridge, and the ear is cleaned before piercing.
Earlobe piercings usually need about six weeks before the first stud is changed. It can take longer for some people.
Clean the ear as advised, keep hands clean when touching it, and avoid swimming for the first few weeks. Contact us if redness or swelling does not settle.
