Will the dimple show when I am not smiling?

In the first weeks the dimple often shows even at rest. As healing settles, it usually becomes more noticeable mainly when you smile.

Is there a scar?

The cut is made inside the mouth, so there is no scar on the face.

How long is recovery?

Most people return to work in a day or two. Mild swelling and soreness inside the cheek usually settle within one to two weeks.

Will both dimples look exactly the same?

Care is taken to place them evenly, but small differences can remain, just as natural dimples are often not identical.
