Will the transplanted beard look natural?

The grafts are placed following the natural angle and direction of facial hair, so they usually blend with your existing beard.

When can I shave?

Most people can shave or trim once the small scabs have cleared, often after about ten days. We will confirm at your review.

When will I see results?

Transplanted hairs often shed in the first weeks. New growth usually starts at three to four months, with fuller results by six to twelve months.

Can the hair come from somewhere other than the scalp?

The back of the scalp is the usual donor area. In some cases hair from under the chin may be used, which Dr Sai Santosh will discuss with you.
