At GIA Clinics Gunadala, near Hyatt Place, this treatment is led by Dr Sreeja and Dr Lalitya. Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed pulp from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the canals, and lets you keep the tooth instead of losing it. At GIA Clinics in Vijayawada, it is done by Dr Sreeja Lakshmi at Gunadala, Dr Pravalika Mogili at Gurunanak Colony, and Dr Lalitya Dandamudi at both clinics.

Your first visit answers this properly, with an examination and, where needed, a scan, before you commit to anything.
We examine the tooth, test it and take an X-ray to see the decay, the roots and any infection.

Answers to be checked by the doctor
The tooth is numbed first, so most patients feel pressure rather than pain. The tooth may feel tender for a few days afterwards.
Often yes, if the infection is limited. Teeth with more infection or curved canals may need two or three visits.
Usually yes for back teeth, because a treated tooth can become brittle. Your dentist will advise for front teeth case by case.
Removing it is possible, but the gap may later need an implant, bridge or denture. Saving your own tooth is usually the first choice.
