At GIA Clinics Gurunanak Colony, on Club Road, Funtimes, this treatment is led by Dr Lalitya. Kids' dentistry is dental care planned around children, from first check-ups and preventive care to fillings and baby tooth treatment. At GIA Clinics in Vijayawada, it is led by Dr Lalitya Dandamudi, our paediatric dentist (MDS Pedodontics), at both our Gunadala and Gurunanak Colony clinics.

Dr Lalitya meets your child, explains things in simple words and lets them see the instruments before anything starts.

Chief Paediatric & General Dentist, 14 years of practice. At GIA Gurunanak Colony, 10 AM to 8:30 PM.
"We visited Gia Clinic for my 8-year-old daughter's root canal treatment, and the entire experience was exceptional. Dr. Lalitya was extremely gentle, patient, and understanding. She took special care to comfort my daughter, who was quite nervous in the beginning."
"The way Dr. Lalitya explained every step, used calm words, and built trust before starting the procedure really made a big difference. My daughter felt safe and confident throughout."
Answers to be checked by the doctor
Ideally when the first tooth comes in, or by the first birthday. Early visits help catch problems and get children used to the dentist.
Yes. Baby teeth hold space for adult teeth and help with eating and speech, and untreated decay can cause pain and infection.
Dr Lalitya is trained in behaviour management and takes things step by step. For some children, conscious sedation may be discussed.
Sealants are thin coatings painted on the chewing surfaces of back teeth. They help keep food and germs out of the grooves.
